Norrtåg train 7183 is cancelled Haparanda – Boden. So what do I do?
OPTION 1
Change my rules, and take a rail replacement bus.
BUT this will get me to Boden at 09.37 (estimated), meaning I will miss the Boden – Umeå train 7103 at 09:11.
The next Boden – Umeå is at 14:05, then arriving in Umeå in time to take the night train to Stockholm there, then a X2000 train to Malmö, then have a bit of buffer in København and have a good chance to get the NightJet Hamburg – Offenburg.
OPTION 2
Stick to trains, if I can be certain that train 7185 Haparanda – Boden is indeed a train. That then means an even later Boden – Umeå, a short night in a hotel there, then X2000 to Stockholm, and short connection onto Snälltåget to Hamburg, and a short connection onto the Nightjet to Offenburg. If the X2000 to Stockholm is a little late, there’s a X2000 to Malmö that is faster and catches up the Snälltåget. If the Snälltåget is a little late there is a ICE that catches up the NightJet in Hannover. It is all rather risky, but it might work?
I lean towards Option 2, but I am open to being persuaded otherwise!
