Wintersdorf 🇩🇪 – Roppenheim 🇫🇷
Background:
There used to be a line Rastatt – Haguenau, and there are even still tracks laid in the tarmac on the border bridge at Wintersdorf. But the track is active only for freight and – today! – a special steam train too, organised by campaigners in Karlsruhe who want the line to re-open. I will join them on board before then heading eastwards towards Hungary.
